The HealthIMPACT Changemaker of the Year Awards celebrate the exceptional contributions of health system technology leaders who are transforming healthcare through innovation, implementation, and impact. By recognizing and honoring these changemakers, we aim to inspire and encourage continued progress in leveraging technology to improve healthcare delivery and patient outcomes.

Award Categories

1. Innovator of the Year

This category recognizes a health system technology leader who has pioneered groundbreaking innovations in healthcare technology. The winner has demonstrated exceptional creativity, vision, and leadership in developing and introducing novel technologies, platforms, or solutions that have the potential to revolutionize healthcare delivery and improve patient care.

2. Implementer of the Year

This category recognizes a health system technology leader who has successfully led the implementation of transformative technology initiatives within their organization. The winner has demonstrated exceptional project management skills, stakeholder engagement, and change management capabilities in driving the adoption and integration of new technologies, resulting in significant operational improvements and enhanced patient experiences.

3. ChangeMaker of the Year

This category recognizes a health system technology leader who has made a significant and measurable impact on healthcare outcomes through the effective use of technology. The winner has demonstrated exceptional leadership in leveraging technology to drive quality improvement, patient safety, population health management, or other key areas of healthcare delivery, resulting in tangible benefits for patients, providers, and the healthcare system as a whole.

Eligibility

Nominees must be current health system technology leaders (e.g., CIOs, CTOs, CMIOs, or equivalent roles) at a healthcare provider organization.
Nominees must have demonstrated exceptional leadership, vision, and achievements in their respective categories during the qualifying period.

Nomination and Selection Process

Nominations can be submitted by colleagues, peers, or self-nominated.
Nominations must include a detailed description of the nominee's achievements, impact, and supporting evidence.
An independent panel of industry experts will review and evaluate the nominations based on predefined criteria.
Winners will be selected based on the strength of their nominations and the impact of their achievements.

Recognition

Winners will be announced and honored at the annual HealthIMPACT Forum June 12th and 13th
Winner receive a complimentary pass to the HealthIMPACT Forum
Winners will receive a commemorative award a featured profile in the HealthIMPACT publications, and opportunities for thought leadership and interview on Digital Health Talks Podcast
Winners will serve as role models and inspire the healthcare technology community to drive innovation, implementation, and impact in healthcare

The HealthIMPACT Changemaker of the Year Awards celebrate exceptional health system technology leaders who are transforming healthcare through innovation, implementation, and impact.
